Safsaf café restaurant Oujda

⭐ 1 star – Avoid at all costs! I have never had such a disastrous experience in a restaurant. We started with the harira soup, which was included in the set menu, along with a hard-boiled egg... except the egg was completely rotten: a nauseating smell, a brown yolk, absolutely revolting. It's simply unacceptable and dangerous to your health. Imagine if my 7-year-old son had eaten it... I don't even want to think about the consequences. Things only got worse. The chicken tagine contained a leg so dry it was tough, with the skin stuck to the bone. As for the veal tagine, it was made up almost entirely of fat and sinew, with only three prunes. We were shocked. It certainly wasn't quality veal. We sent everything back to the kitchen. Despite this series of extremely serious mistakes, we were still charged for the cocktails. A little basic customer service would have been to waive the charge for our drinks after such an experience. The only positive point was the waiter, Wadi3, who was very professional, polite, and clearly very embarrassed by the situation. He did what he could, but it doesn't make up for what happened in the kitchen. I am disgusted and deeply disappointed. I have photos and videos showing the state of the food, especially that inedible egg. This kind of negligence deserves to be reported to the health department. I forgot to mention the frozen fries...!!! A disgrace. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Avoid it at all costs.

A very pleasant restaurant with a large space and plenty of comfortable seating. The service is excellent and the menu offers a wide variety of dishes. There's also a children's play area, making it perfect for family outings, meetings, or even working quietly alone. I highly recommend it.

The 100dh and 50dh tajines are exactly the same. We ordered one medium tajine for two people and one 50dh tajine for one person, and they are exactly the same.

The food was a delight, plentiful and very tasty. Our server, Amin, was excellent. There are two dining rooms; the downstairs one is cool and quiet with beautiful decorations, resembling a museum. We highly recommend it.

We had lunch, and our food arrived barely warm; the mint tea was too weak. The setting remains beautiful and the service adequate. The prices are quite reasonable.
