They cancelled our booking short before our arrival at the riad, which we booked a long time before, forcing us to find shelter elsewhere for our family. And to make matters even worse, they still refuse to pay back the money paid for the accommodation, four months have passed by now. We have been scammed

Very pretty place, but you can’t eat or sleep there! I’m adding photos, of the good and bad! I stayed last night. The whole place is very pretty, and the first room I stayed in was very pretty too. Dinner was left uneaten. 300 dirhams for 3 corses in which they include a cold “moroccan salad”, microwaved watery eggplant, meatball tajine in which the tomato was barely cooked and the meatballs were falling appart and barely cooked when I touched them. Desert was awful, can’t even explain the hot sour orange juice and cinnamon. Worst meal I had in Morocco ever. I asked for some soup and was glad to eat something warm. Going to bed, I found dirty linnens, with stains and hairs, some sort of wet, disgusting. Complained and was offered another room. The other room was with open windows, bed similarly dirty but with no hairs. Overnight, the room started smelling bad. I understood why they keep it with open windows. The guy basically running the place and doing everything by himself is opening the place up in the morning, serving tables at dinner and closing up. He was great, and sadly embarassed. The owner parades around, instead. They still charged me for the meal, the full 300 dirhams. 1000 dirhams got me a couple of bug bites, a bad night’s sleep and no dinner. 2 stars is generous, for the experience I had.

We were travelling with our family and made a booking far (11 months) in advance. The riad cancelled our booking short before our arrival and they did not pay our money back till now (4 months later!). At first excuses, but now… no reaction at all. Totally unreliable.

Our family made a reservation far in advance, but they cancelled shortly before we arrived. On top of that, it’s been four months, and they refuse to refund our money in the cancelled booking!

They cancelled on short notice after booking almost a year in advance. Never paid back the advance payment they required.

What a beautiful oasis and a great welcome! We stopped on our way to Ouarzazate and wished we could stay longer. Monsieur Moustapha shared the story of how he built this magical place throughout several years. The decor, woodwork and gardens are magnificent. Our children loved the pool, the tortoises and everyone was so friendly. Would go back anytime!

Huge rooms and nice pool. This Riad has a lovely outside pool area near the rooms. The staff is composed by a small amount of people who don't speak english but they're kind. Typical berber food is served day and night. Rooms are big and quite clean but really cold since there's no heating. No check in or check out by the staff. The area outside the riad is not worth visiting.

What a gorgeous spot! Not much English spoken but we were able to communicate nonetheless. Grounds were amazing, quiet location, room large and comfortable although beds are very firm. Food delicious. Navigation had trouble directing us but we soon discovered an orange square symbol with an arrow: first one near the mosque and then we followed them directly to the riad. Would have loved to stay longer! Highly recommend.
