Riad Chbanate

We stayed for 3 nights at Riad Chbanate and absolutely loved our stay. Our room was beautiful and clean. The location is excellent, on a quiet street but a short walk away from the all the things you want to see. Lastly, the staff was excellent! So helpful and kind. We would highly recommend for your stay.

What a beautiful place and a fantastic stay. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating with any questions and requests we had.

Lovely Riad located on outskirts of the medina, but close walk to center. The rooms are gorgeous, the service is impeccable, everyone makes such an effort so you have a nice stay. And there is a turtle!! The food is delicious. Really one of the best breakfasts we had in Morocco. Watch out for the hawker in front of the riad to the left, always trying get you to buy stuff from his shop.

Beautiful riad! Beautiful surroundings and friendly service, great location! Amazing smell! *The beds are "very hard" for my taste, (but it's healthy to sleep on haha)😄 **Maybe one remark would be to the room keepers, because the walls are really thin, you can hear everything that is happening in the corridor, the room keepers are cleaning the rooms for two days in a row from 11 am, they are "tidying up" loudly, they are talking and laughing among themselves a little bit too loud, which is a little bit disturbing for those who want to sleep longer.

This riad is a gem. We were blown away by the beauty of the building and the rooms and the kindness of the staff is really something else—they worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed and even helped us find a pharmacy for an urgent medical need. Our room had beautiful ceilings and a comfortable bathroom with a full-size tub, and the central courtyard is airy and peaceful. Don't miss the chance to go up to the terrace on the roof for a nice view of the medina rooftops and the ocean. Once you're in Essaouira, it's easy to get here—the riad a straight shot from one of the gates to the medina—and the accommodations truly couldn't be nicer. 10/10!

Our favourite stay in Morocco. Perfectly located near the entrance of the walled city and a short walk from the Supratours bus station, this riad is stunning and feels luxurious. Entering the riad feels like you've been transported to your own tranquil haven. The service is outstanding. They really nail all the small touches, from bath salts for the soaker tubs to a wood fireplace in your room lit for you upon request to set the ambience. We stayed for 2 nights and after experiencing this riad, we tried to extend our stay one more night, but of course it was already fully booked - just goes to show how much we loved it here. Do yourself a favour and stay here when you visit Essaouira!

We spent a lovely four nights in Riad Chbanate. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. And we enjoyed the large bath in our room. We also liked that the riad was located on a very quiet street.
