Wonderful place in the heart of the medina

Incredible experience! The typical decoration really puts you in the Moroccan ambiance and the hosts Fatima and Abdul are incredible ! It was everything I hoped and far more

I loved Riad Aziman. Tetuan is a city in which when I started looking, I was having a hard time finding that kind of accommodation that I like, since the city is traditional and Riads are mostly quite ornate from the point of view of decoration, so I was delighted to find this space, which is simple lines and nothing ornate. I saw photos of one of the rooms (it was the one I finally stayed in) and loved that modern touch in a traditional Moroccan home. The room was comfortable and spacious with a bathroom inside. I also really liked how it was decorated. There are four other rooms in the Riad and at all times I felt the space like home. In the living room there is a small fountain with that characteristic soothing sound of water from Andalusian patios. The Riad is super cozy and Obaida and Fatima are two excellent hosts who took care of every detail to make my stay perfect. I also chatted with Stefan, the owner of the Riad, who was equally approachable and charming. The rooftop terrace of the Riad is wonderful and has spectacular views and even a Jacuzzi-pool that lights up at night in different colors making this space especially pleasant. There is also a Hamman in this area. It felt like a nice and intimate home. It is perfectly located in the Medina and very close to all the places that Tetuan locals will name you as a reference so you don't get lost ;) If you let the Riad know the time of your arrival, they will pick you up where the cab drops you off and escort you to the space. I highly recommend this Riad when you visit Tetouan. If I go back to Tetouan, I will repeat. In the narrow streets around the Riad you have souks and stalls with all the curious stores you can think of and you can go back a few hundred years in time. All very unique. Book this Riad to feel at home!

Very good.

Thanks to the hardworking, welcoming, and sweet Fatima, the stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the only room with a private bathroom, but the others with shared bathrooms (large, modern, and clean) were also wonderful. The riad is well-maintained, with a spectacular terrace with a stunning view, BUT the signage is terrible—there's not even a sign outside—that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. I didn't try breakfast, but the Wi-Fi was decent.
