Don't come here for the ambiance, come for the food, and for sure Safi's famous pottery souk, and that alone makes the experience special. The restaurant is very simple place, nothing fancy, a few tables. Hosni himself is the chef, the waiter, and basically the whole team. He runs a small kitchen and cooks a handful small selection of tajines, nothing more. Limited options, and if you want something specific, call ahead the day before. The fish tajine we had was genuinely delicious. Authentic, well-cooked, and affordable. Don't expect a restaurant experience, expect real homemade Moroccan cooking at a fair price, Chez Hosni delivers exactly that.
