I was just getting the flu and felt very tired. I tried to find a bank to withdraw some money, but unfortunately, after four days of continuous closure following Eid, the ATMs were empty. Despite the distance, I went to this pharmacy. I asked for a Fibrex, which cost 21 dirhams, and indicated that I would pay by card. I was informed that the minimum purchase amount was 100 dirhams, but I only had 16 dirhams in cash. I asked if I could come back with the missing 5 dirhams, but the response was shocking. I was told that I was simply a walk-in customer and that they couldn't lend me those 5 dirhams. It was truly humiliating and disconcerting, especially in my feverish state. Where has humanity gone?
