Best view, kindest service, and smiles as warm as the food :) They even matched the color of the straws to our outfits!

We were afraid it would be too touristic, but the place is super nice! Nice food, service and good prices.

Had a great meal here. Host was very welcoming. There were a lot of steps to the top balcony, but worth the climb. Lovely view of the city and Kasbah as the sun went down and the full moon rose! Food was excellent, especially the Lemon Chicken Tajine.

Our excursion guide wanted the group to go to another place with super low reviews but we went here instead. The food was ready super fast and was tasty! Portions are not very big but the prices are also on the low side. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Manar du Sud is an affair to remember. The lunch I had there featured real home-cooked Moroccan cuisine, prepared by a wonderful woman with truly gifted hands and taste. It was the only place in Morocco where I tasted expertly prepared traditional dishes with a genuine warmth that can only be found in home cooking. The decor perfectly complemented beautiful Ouarzazate, and the service was exceptionally warm, delivered with big, genuine, and caring smiles. I absolutely recommend it; I would have gone back over and over had I stayed longer. What truly set Manar du Sud apart was that all the dishes were made fresh, and they had the one and only pigeon pastilla! I couldn't believe my luck; it was truly an affair to remember. You will thank me for this recommendation!
