What people mention
A lovely place, nicely decorated. The breakfasts are generous and beautifully presented. The outdoor space is pleasant. However, it could be a bit cleaner. There was coffee left in the restrooms... cigarette butts on the terrace... and litter.
The food is good, the service is 0. And the atmosphere is lovely.
Visiting Les 7 Pains is a very pleasant experience overall, whether for a coffee break or a sweet treat. The café offers a wide variety of breads, pastries, and cakes that are truly tempting from the moment you walk in. The presentation of the products is meticulous, and you can feel a real focus on quality and freshness. The café's atmosphere is warm and modern, ideal for relaxing alone or with friends. The service is generally good, with welcoming and smiling staff. However, during peak hours, there can be a bit of a wait, which explains my 4-star rating instead of 5. Despite this, the team remains professional and does its best to serve customers quickly. Hot drinks like coffee and tea are well-prepared and perfectly complement the pastries. The prices are reasonable considering the quality, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's a place I recommend for a quick break or breakfast. With a little more organization during busy periods, this would easily be a 5-star establishment. I will definitely return to try other products and enjoy the calm and friendly atmosphere of the place again. I think it's a good option for families and students looking for a comfortable place to work or relax.
A very disappointing experience at Café Les Sept Pain in El Jadida. Excessive wait time: almost 30 minutes to take our order and then over an hour to be served. The most shocking thing was the waiter/bartender's attitude when we complained, with a disrespectful and provocative manner of speaking. Regarding the cocktail, it was more like an industrial juice than a real fresh fruit cocktail as described on the menu. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the service and professionalism need improvement. Thank you for your response, but I stand by my opinion completely, as it accurately reflects the experience I had there. Following your response, I would like to clarify that my opinion accurately reflects the experience I had there. The wait concerned both taking our order and the overall service, and the main problem was the unprofessional way in which our complaint was received. The problem wasn't just the preparation time for the tacos, but primarily the overall delay before even taking the order and the excessive wait before being served. Regarding the drinks, their appearance and taste were nothing like what one expects from a fresh smoothie described on your menu, hence my comment. Finally, asking customers to "speak more quietly" can be done respectfully and professionally. Unfortunately, the way it was handled that day was perceived as inappropriate and provocative, which explains our dissatisfaction. My review is not intended to be negative, but simply to share a real experience so that the service can be improved.
1 star. Only for small businesses with a minimum spend of 50 Dhs on the bakery. Considering the profit margin.
Cute place, fast service, very affordable price Will be back for sure
The service was terrible. The pastries were dry and tasted bad. And I have to emphasize once again that the customer service was completely unprofessional and unpleasant.
We were very disappointed with this place. My family and I came for breakfast, and it was overrun with students, everyone doing their own thing. We tried to find a table, but the one was empty. The lines of laptop and phone chargers prevented us from sitting down. When we tried to move the chargers, everyone descended on us, right in front of the waiter who was also charging his phone at the table. So we decided to leave, as they made it clear we were disturbing them. I feel sorry for the owner because I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. We then went to Café Les Terrasses, which we found wonderful and very welcoming. There were students there too, but they were well-managed by the owner. I hope my message will help change things and improve the organization of this café.
