Booked it for the first night. Realising we would have found better options later in this trip. The portions were generous though.

Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Starting with the food: the steak was of extremely poor quality. I ordered a rib steak, which was well marbled and not cooked medium rare as requested—rather, it was closer to medium or even undercooked in parts. For starters, I ordered carpaccio with burrata, but unfortunately the burrata was no longer available. However, we were only informed about that 45 Minutes after placing the order and there was not offered any replacement instead. Additionally, another main course we ordered was missing several ingredients that were clearly listed on the menu (there it was not even mentioned before, that anything was Not available anymore or would be missing). The service was equally disappointing. We were barely attended to, and some of our orders were simply forgotten. Because of the lack of staff attention, we didn’t even have the opportunity to mention the missing items or ask for corrections. Unfortunately, there is no option to give negative stars here, but that would be the only rating truly reflecting both the food and the service. The only positive aspect of the experience was the nice ambiance of the restaurant.

The portions here are larger than expected so keep that in mind when ordering. Our starters were pretty yummy but the mains were lackluster. Also both our steak and lobster were overcooked, though the flavor was decent. Overall the atmosphere and service made the experience nice, but the food is nothing to write home about.

I had a wonderful first date at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely attentive and professional. The atmosphere is very classy and elegant. But the only reason I gave 4/5 stars for atmosphere is because the overhead music consisted of very old and traditional American love songs. If they had slightly more modern but equally sophisticated musical selections, it would be preferable.
