Best place to get a coffee in Essaouira

Quiet street so not somewhere you’ll stumble upon. But worth taking a turn along Rue Ibn Rochd to Khawa Cafe. Lunch croquette in chicken and fish were delicious. The salad was so delicately prepared, lettuce being something rare here, small tomatoes, radish, thinly sliced, raisins, sweet dressing with sesame seeds. It’s worth describing because it was just so delicious. Nice coffee too. Such a quiet authentic corner of Essaouira.

A beautiful and quiet place

Very nice coffee spot on a quiet street in the medina. Opposite a very beautiful shop. A place to sit for hours with a book, away from the hustle and bustle!

This is a cute little cafe with amazing coffees. Try the chicken sandwich with fromage!

Espresso, golden milk and a chocolate truffle, divine.

Really nice café with excellent options for both food and drink. The location is great with shops across the street & people walking past. It's great to hear the multiple dialects as you sip, eat, chat & read. The only downside was the server, on entry glued to her phone & felt a little like I was disturbing her focus on lvl435 of Candy Crush. After serving, straight back on for the entire duration (I hope she completed the level!) until the next customer entered. So a place to relax, take the Essaouiran atmosphere and surrounding in but not one for service I've come to love here.
