During a recent family visit to Morocco, my son experienced a severe allergic reaction, necessitating an urgent visit to a local hospital. Understandably, I was apprehensive about the level of care we might receive in a smaller city, but I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional team we encountered. The attending physician demonstrated remarkable expertise, while the nurses and support staff exhibited genuine warmth and compassion, effectively alleviating my son's anxiety. In my opinion, the quality of care we received surpassed that which is typically experienced in the United Kingdom. Despite the hospital's limitations in terms of advanced technology and equipment, the dedication and competence of the medical team were truly commendable. I sincerely hope that they will receive the necessary funding to continue their outstanding work.

This hospital's motto is neglect, nothing but neglect. The nurses are in one world, the doctors in another, and no one cares about the patients, especially in the maternity ward. Hospitals in major Moroccan cities are in a disastrous state, so what about a city that resembles a residential neighborhood?

The regional hospital in Benguerir, despite the efforts made, still needs attention, equipment, and medical and administrative staff. May God grant you success.
