Appointment at 2:30 PM, arrived right on time. The waiting room was full, and I waited my turn like everyone else. A patient arrived after me, whispered a few words to the receptionist about her busy schedule, and was then seen ahead of me (she and her son) without any apparent urgency (they were calmly discussing their vacation in the waiting room). No explanation was given to the other patients waiting, myself included. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident; this kind of preferential treatment seems to happen regularly in this practice. Respecting patient time and the established order should be the norm, especially in the context of psychiatric care where punctuality and consideration are paramount. I left and won't be making another appointment.
