Domaine Villa Talaa

A royal welcome from a wonderful staff. The accommodation is exquisite. Immaculately clean. The rooms are huge and the decor is fabulous. Our whole stay here for five nights was wonderful. Their food was delicious. It was such a friendly place yet you still felt like you were in a Palace. I could not recommend the villa more. It's a haven. We will definitely return. It was absolute luxury and offered a real local feel. The manager went out of his way to check in with us every morning to see we were happy and had slept well. It was just a lovely experience. We went off season and still had a wonderful time. Their hospitality was something else. We will return. 10/10

It's hard to overstate what a beautiful place this is -- only superseded by the eternally gracious Mohammed, whose hospitality and attention to detail made us feel like royalty. Don't be deterred by the seemingly remote location and dirt road to get there -- because once you do it's an oasis of large spaces, beautifully (and uniquely) appointed modern rooms, lush gardens and abundant songbirds, and fantastic food. Our room was huge with a separate sitting room, two patios, bathroom with shower and tub, and view over a lush green valley. We were welcomed with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the garden, followed by a delicious Moroccan dinner with wine, and poolside breakfast the next morning. This is the perfect place to have a wedding or other special event -- or just to escape for a romantic vacation. I agree with what others have said -- the pictures just can't do it justice. PS - don't miss sunset views from the rooftop.

Amazing place!

I miss this place terribly! A warm hug to all the staff! Excellent value for money. The perfect place to stop on the way to Tata (southern desert) and relax. Very easy to reach, with Google Maps directions, from Marrakech airport by rental car. I've recommended it to many.

Although quite far from the center of Taroudant, Villa Talaa is well worth the few kilometers to reach. It's a veritable Moroccan castle, largely surrounded by high walls, and hiding a maze leading to numerous apartments. You'll happily lose yourself in what's almost a private hamlet. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and carefully decorated. I particularly appreciated an entire room (about 5 square meters) dedicated to the shower! With a large showerhead pouring down on your head. That's when you realize that space is a luxury. The bathtub is equally oversized. But your ecological concerns quickly restrain you because you use well over 300 liters for a bath, which, in a desert country, borders on impractical. A superb swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden, a lovely terrace, and all the necessary furniture for lounging. It will need to be renovated one day as the tiles are a bit old and have become rough. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit rough. It's possible to have dinners served to order. It's simple but of very good quality. The main building has a large reception area and a room that can accommodate large dinners or cocktail parties. The service is particularly attentive and attentive. For internet addicts, the Wi-Fi is a bit weak.

We had a separate, secluded area with a terrace for sunbathing. We were welcomed with a warm and friendly touch and freshly squeezed orange juice. The accommodation is on the pricier side, but it's worth it! Pure adventure! We had the entire resort to ourselves during Ramadan, along with three other couples... and it was like a castle! Dinner was okay, nothing fancy, but nicely prepared and the overall atmosphere was great. Don't be surprised by the price afterward. :) (20 euros per person). Finally, we have to mention that our car was washed and we were given a warm hug goodbye. Mohammed and his team are fantastic and were an absolute highlight of our trip! We felt right at home!

A fabulous stay. We had an exceptional time. The welcome, the service, the breakfast, the room, the pool, the gardens—everything was top-notch. We wanted to stay longer. A special mention for the staff, who were outstanding. A truly special experience. We'll be back; it was just too good.
