It's unfortunate that the shop owner invests heavily in the shop's appearance and furnishings, yet overlooks the fact that some of his employees handle bread and rolls with their bare hands. It's unacceptable for a worker to touch bread without using tongs, gloves, or washing their hands. This behavior disgusts customers and creates a negative impression of the shop, regardless of the quality of its products. True investment isn't just in appearance, but also in ensuring that employees respect hygiene and food safety standards.

This isn't the first time I've noticed the behavior of a member of staff (probably the manager). She's not friendly and lacks courtesy towards customers. It's a shame, because service is just as important as the products.
