I want to share our experience so that other patients can be vigilant. My mother consulted this internist when she was suffering from significant fatigue, dizziness, bleeding, and severely abnormal test results. An ultrasound was performed during the consultation. Despite all of this, no serious diagnosis was given. The doctor simply prescribed treatment to relieve the symptoms, without alerting us to the potential seriousness of the situation. We thus lost extremely precious time. More than three months later, a gastroenterologist discovered colon cancer with a tumor of approximately 9 cm. The doctors consulted afterward all expressed their astonishment that such a diagnosis had not been suspected or even mentioned earlier. Today, my mother is suffering greatly, and we live with the feeling that the delay in treatment could have been avoided. I leave it to each individual to form their own opinion, but, for our part, this experience has profoundly shaken our confidence. Hasbi Allah wa ni'ma al-wakil.
