Bakery Pastry Café Restaurant Habous

Very friendly staff and great terrace overlooking the square; I only had water and a mango tart, which was absolutely delicious, not too sweet, perfect, and the type of pastry you find in fancy Parisian pastry stores; Habous was recommended to me by a friend who lives just outside of Ouarzazate and who gets her Ramadan pastries from here 👍👍🙂 Tenmirt !!

A very bad experience at this restaurant Food is not tasty at all

Passive aggressive server Doesn't bring the menu over in time, even though both times we locked eyes while i was coming in and he was idle chatting with other personnel Did not give me the full change back, assuming i would just tip him anyway When i didn't like his behavior the second time i showed up he volunteered to make my drink, since i wasn't going to sit and wait until he decided to finish his chat again and wasn't staying there anymore. (never returning btw), and he made my drink with as much ice as possible, literally 4 gulps and the drink was finished. Only ice remained. He covered it with lots of think plastic so i don't notice. I also told him not to make it too sweet and guess what? Almost couldn't finish those 4 gulps because of how sweet it was. If only i didn't need the coffee fix i wouldn't have showed up. The barista was there and he was idle but this guy asked him to let him make the drink. And he made me the same drink before, it was good. These are all no coincidences. Put a decent guy to serve. Edit: this is just my personal conclusion, treats the restaurant as his own letout for his inferiority complex and all kinds of gaslighting tendencies. He thinks anyone who came to spend this and this money in the establishment is stupid so he believes they deserve to be treated like that and most of the times customers show up to have a good time and wouldn't stoop to his level and that's what he takes advantage of.

Habous Restaurant is a true gem in Ouarzazate. Amazing Asian food, full of flavor and beautifully presented. I went with my family and we had such a great time. The view and the atmosphere are just perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious. What I love most is that the place has three different parts: a beautiful terrace, a cozy main restaurant, and downstairs there’s an amazing bakery. Everything about this place makes the experience special. Highly recommended 🌟

Beautifully presented fresh Moroccan salad, soup, Fresh bread & olives. Portion is generous !

Lovely patisserie, attentive service and nice view over the square.

Honestly love the food there but the service is just excruciating and totally uncalled for to be that slow. I think servers there use more of their time chit-chating than the average person, instead of serving people their food. Would greatly appreciate it if y'all would just hurry up and do things properly so we could actually appreciate the food and scenery.

They are open at 8 am, which is nice. The food was good but we had a misunderstanding with tea. We ordered black tea, specifically confirmed that they had it as one of our group members didn't drink a green one at all, but they brought a green one. Not the end of the world, of course, but it could be avoided for sure. They have a wonderful bakery there, as well. We've tried various things and all were delicious.
