I sustained a serious ankle fracture and dislocation while visiting Dakhla and was treated at this hospital. The orthopaedic team operated promptly, repairing the injury with a plate and screws. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism, skill and care shown throughout my treatment. Dr Kirat took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me great confidence during what was a very stressful experience. After returning to the UK, I was reviewed by an NHS orthopaedic surgeon who carefully examined my X-rays and operative report. He was very complimentary about the quality of the surgery and told me that the fixation and alignment were excellent, adding that the X-rays looked exactly as he would expect if the operation had been performed in the UK. I am very grateful to Dr Kirat and the entire team for their expertise, kindness and rapid response. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone needing orthopaedic care in Dakhla.

They are blatantly unprofessional. I was with my father in the recovery ward, and he couldn't get any rest. There was loud talking and laughter all the time. In every hospital, vital signs are taken calmly and quickly, except in this one. Plus, the guard sets his own terms for visiting, preventing some from entering while allowing others in if you pay him a tip. It's truly shameful that the services are like this in an international hospital like this.

From my experience, the Akdital clinic is clean, and the staff and management are of a good standard of patient care. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this achievement, because this area needs clinics like it. Best regards.

I arrived at the ER with foot pain and asked for an X-ray because I thought I had a fracture. The doctor told me there was very little chance it was broken, that it was just a hematoma. I asked for an X-ray anyway. They didn't see anything. I was advised to rest. Back in France, I went straight to the ER; fracture in my foot. And it turns out it's much more visible on the X-ray taken at this clinic. Aside from that, the clinic was very clean and the treatment was quick, but it was pointless except for the cost.

A completely new clinic, why is there no digital program in the victory rooms, given the many violations and transgressions?
