This hotel is clean, in a perfect location, has safe parking, is affordable, and has a good service team of employees. This is walking distance to everywhere one would want to go in Malaga. It's not a five star hotel, but I never need anything more than a safe, clean room with excellent wifi and this hotel offered exactly that. The roof top pool was a welcome bonus on a hot day.
Stayed here for one night as a stop over. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to local attractions and the city sightseeing bus stops just a 30 second walk away. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and the harbour is around 10 minutes. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful polite and friendly and were more than happy to help. I stayed in the single room and although it was on the small side it was clean and had everything I needed. There was a safety deposit box in the room and that was provided for free which was a nice touch. My only criticism was that the window didn't lock. I would have felt safer leaving my valuables in the room had it done so. Breakfast was only an additional €5 and this was served until 11.30 it consisted of the usual cold meats and cheeses, cereal, yoghurt, bread rolls, croissants, toast and Jam. With fruit juice, water and coffee. Overall I enjoyed my experience of this hotel and would have no problem recommending it. Especially to people who want to use it as a base whilst they explore Malaga.
I think €98 for a small hotelroom with a noisy/leaking airconditioning a small 'double' bed and outdated furniture /bathroom is too much. Location is great, staff was friendly and it was clean, but would never recommand it.
HORRIBLE service - DO NOT book here! My parents and I booked a weekend getaway to Málaga and were excited to stay at the Eliseos hotel. A couple of weeks before arrival, the booking agency went bankrupt. We immediately checked with Eliseos if our booking was still active, which they confirmed by phone and by email. So color us surprised that, upon arrival at the hotel, the booking had vanished. A very unpleasant start to what's supposed to be a relaxing weekend away which became even more unpleasant because of the way Miguel at Eliseos' reception desk treated us. Instead of trying to figure out a way to solve the problem, Miguel laughed at us, told us repeatedly it was our problem and not his and refused to let us talk to his manager (who, Miguel told us, didn't speak any English. How convenient!). It was very clear that there were still hotel rooms available in Eliseos, but instead of offering any kind of solution, Miguel made us feel extremely unwelcome in the hotel. He was not cooperative, a bad example for the hotel industry and very unpleasant to deal with. After a long discussion with Miguel, we decided to try our luck elsewhere. We booked rooms at the Exe Astoria hotel, where the people were very friendly and welcoming. And, to be honest, Eliseos looked very shabby from the outside, so I'm sure it was a better fit in the end. Long story short: we were not taken seriously by the staff, they made us feel very unwelcome and the vibe was extremely unpleasant.
Clean, decent. Biggest advantage of this hotel is location. Near to all Malaga Centrum attractions. Great cafeteria next to the hotel.
