We cancelled our reservation as the hotel could not confirm we would have a room with twin beds. We booked the twin that was offered and received a message that reception would do their best to fulfil our ‘special request’. We left it to a week before arrival and asked again for confirmation of twin beds and received the same reply. Firstly, don’t offer something you can’t deliver. Secondly, a four star hotel should have a reception able to guarantee a room type they are selling on booking sites. Thirdly, it’s not a hostel for 20 euro a night. We are not going to pay nearly €300 a night for a room that doesn’t suit us and is not what we booked. And lastly, we are on holiday and don’t want arguments at reception. Poor customer service.
1. The location was fantastic. 2. The staff were kind and spoke English fluently. 3. There are two fast operating elevators. 4. There was a welcoming bottle of water and some cookies which I found cool. 5. The room was not so big but very clean and comfortable. The beds are really comfortable. The light is great. There is safe, water kettle and complementary tea and coffee. Electricity outlet on both sides of the beds. Fridge. Extremely good AC. 6. The barh was clean and chic. 7. There is a pool on the floor which is open 11 to 9 pm. It is not big but enough for chilling. 8. The bar on the rooftop is perfect. Open to the public and fresh drinks. You cannot charge the drinks on the room. You should pay by card or cash. 9. The breakfast was complete. From vegetables and fruits to croissants and cheesecake. We chose to eat at the hotel as it was perfect and had a reasonable price. Overall. Extremely satisfied with the hotel. Highly recommended.
One of the best hotels I've ever visited. It's such a pretty, clean, stylish and calm place. The roof top with bar and pool is clean and makes you relax in the sun while the staffs takes good care of you. I really like the quote, "My house is your house", because the staffs in this hotel really makes you feel like you are home. These staffs makes such a great team together, they are supporting each other with everything which makes a better service for the guests. I've never meet a team like this before - they really deserve a big appluse! I'll recommend this hotel - it's worth a visit. I've never tried anything like this before - that service we got was amazing!
Didn't stay in the hotel, just went to the rooftop bar for a cocktail which was very, very tasty. Reasonable prices too, considering the view that you've got! Staff were friendly and helpful too.
Excellent hotel, very friendly service and comfy beds and rooms well decorated. Location was also excellent, within walking distance to nearest metro and close to the harbour. Rooftop bar gets very busy but you can see why when you go there, cocktails excellent and good value. This is starting to become my favourite hotel chain!
Stayed here for a week. Service was attentive, rooms were good and rooftop bar was superb. Probably the best in Malaga. Great location with views of harbour, you can also see the working port. Breakfasts were basic but overall exceeded expectaions.
Amazing view of the sea and the mountains from the rooftop bar that is accessible for anyone just wanting a drink. I was passing there with my family and went to take a cocktail and cafe. Total charge for 4 people ordering drinks was 26 euro 😁 …
I would love to give a 5/5 to this hotel. It's well located, new, well maintained, has an interesting design, bathrooms with beautiful tiling, a lovely rooftop bar. However, the impossibility of bringing down the temperature in the room made our stay really unpleasant. The air-con unit could only be set to ventilation or heating. After reporting the issue to reception, they apparently disconnected our unit from the central system, but it made no difference. The room was still a sauna. We left the window open when we could, even if it made little difference, but, given that we were on the 1st floor, we had to close it at night due to the noise from the street. This, together with bed and pillows, made our sleep over the two nights uncomfortable. Another annoying point is that we paid extra for a room with a view, but I would not call what we had a "view". It was simply facing externally. Lastly, I know that room assignment is always based on availability, but I found it Ironic that after emailing the hotel in advance to express a preference for a room on a higher floor, we got the lowest floor possible. When I brought it up at check-in, I was offered a Junior Suite instead, but I would have had to pay extra for it, which I found a bit unfortunate. Price wise, I would consider more than 350 euros for 2 nights expensive for Malaga in December, but perhaps it was due to the fact that they had the marathon that weekend.
