What we collect

An account stores your email, display name, and password (hashed — we never store it in plain text). Reviews, photos, and saved places you create are linked to your account. If you allow location access, your position is used once to find nearby places and is mapped to the nearest city; we store only that city preference in a cookie.

How we use it

To operate the service: showing your reviews with your display name, personalising results to your city, and letting business owners manage their listings. We count anonymous, aggregate interactions with listings (views, calls, direction requests) to show owners how their page performs — these are not tied to your identity.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data, run third-party advertising trackers, or share your email with businesses. Public content (reviews, photos, your display name) is visible to anyone.

Cookies

Finder uses essential cookies only: your session tokens (to keep you signed in) and your city preference. No cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete your reviews, or stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and its data, contact us via the About page and we will process the request.
