Extremely Disappointing Stay at The Imperial Hotel!!

Two of us traveled from India on a business trip and stayed at The Imperial Hotel for four nights — each day proved worse than the last.

On Day 1, after a 20-hour flight, we found there was no hot water in the bathroom. When it was finally restored three hours later, the water was dirty and brown in color.

The hotel does not provide drinking water or any basic guest amenities. To make matters worse, the night shift manager was extremely unhelpful — his responses were consistently “No” or “I can’t do anything,” and he was rarely present at the reception desk when needed.

We were also shocked to find that the hotel did not have an iron available for guests.

On the day of checkout, we decided to leave early due to the continued poor service. That morning, there was no water at all in the bathroom at 7:00 a.m., and no one answered our repeated calls to the reception.

The so-called complimentary breakfast was bland and offered very limited options.

Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and we have requested its removal from our company’s approved vendor list.

I do not recommend this hotel.
There were no towels in the room. I asked the reception, and they said they would bring them in 10 minutes — but nothing came. I asked again at 7 a.m., and they said they would arrange it by 8, but still no result.
The room was very old, not clean, and had a bad smell. The breakfast was terrible, and the overall service was poor..think twice before booking!

My cousin and I booked this hotel for 7 nights. From day one, things were already bad – the room wasn’t ready. They gave us a temporary room and said our actual room would be ready the next day. We accepted it and were given a dark room with a broken bathroom lock and no towels… etc. But we had no choice, so we spent the night there.
In the middle of the night, I woke up and saw someone standing at the door of our room – someone entered our room at 2 AM!!! My cousin was sleeping, and I grabbed my phone, turned on the flashlight, and walked toward the door, saying “hello,” and the guy who entered just said “Housekeeping??” He didn’t even apologize or say anything. Why is housekeeping entering a room at 2 in the morning? Of course, we complained the next day to the girl at the reception, and she said, “That’s NORMAL!!” We said it’s not normal for someone to enter your room at night while you're sleeping. It was a disaster – I was scared to sleep for two nights, thinking someone would come in again…
The room was dirty, and the two of us were only given two towels – no hand towels or bath mats. We had to go and ask for towels ourselves, and every time they would say there weren’t any. One time, an older man at reception told me I had to ask housekeeping directly.
We also planned to use the spa. When I went there, the woman told me they didn’t have any towels and that I needed to ask at reception. At reception, they had already told us there weren’t any left. In the end, we used t

Disappointing Stay Despite Lovely Staff

We’ve been here for two days, and unfortunately, the experience has been quite frustrating. During our stay, we were moved to three different rooms. The first room wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests checked out, the second room had a non-working air conditioner, and the third room had no towels (again!). It took 6 hours for the staff to get us towels after we asked.

Even in the new room we were shifted to today, there were still no towels. It’s clear that there are some serious management and maintenance issues here. However, I do want to note that the staff members have been incredibly kind and doing their best to make up for the lack of proper service. They’ve been friendly and helpful despite the property's mismanagement, which was the only bright spot in this experience.

I really hope the property can address these basic issues, as it has the potential to be a great stay if the fundamentals like cleaning, working amenities, and guest needs were better managed.

In short: Please AVOID and stay far AWAY from this hotel at all costs. Even if you have absolutely no option of accomation in Casablanca, still don't stay here.

Any hotel is better than this place (even if your travel agent or any other international and reputed agency recommends this place). It's a shame this place is even labeled as 4 stars.
As soon as we entered, the main doors led into the nightclub, not the main reception. For the reception, there is a small side door that leads to the non-air-conditioned reception area, and when we reached, during peak check-in time, there was NO one at the reception.
Later, when someone arrived, despite already paying for an extra bed before arrival (They DON'T respond to emails or phone calls) they argued that we hadn't paid.
After calling yet another of their staff, they finally agreed to this and gave us a suite.

As we went up one of the elevators wasn't working and renovation was taking place on several floors of the hotel, resulting in the pool, spa, and fitness centre areas being closed/unusable.

While one of the two lifts was not working, during several occasions the other operational one's doors didn't close either, resulting in us having to use the stairs from the 4th floor.
As we entered the creepy looking 4th floor (most of the hotel was empty, despite the front desk staff FALSELY claiming that there were around 25 guests staying at the hotel).
