Very good Moroccan biscuits... Pastry shop in the medina

Had tea and biscuits in the afternoon and the owner was so sweet. We had a couch in the back corner and the shop had a constant flow of customers. We thought that the tea was the best we’ve had in Morocco and the biscuits were so yummy.

I haven't tried many, but after a week, these are certainly the best Moroccan pastries (in this style) I've tasted. Exceptional value for money, with a special mention for the lemon shortbread (I can't remember its name). In short, if I go back to Essaouira, this will definitely be the first place I visit!

A simple welcome, superb pastries and mint tea! The best in the medina. I highly recommend it.
