The pastries and viennoiseries are good, I have to admit. But honesty is the most important value. And you shouldn't charge based on who you are. Same order, placed by two different people, two different prices. The second person was local. I don't agree with these practices. It's a shame because the work is high quality, but these practices make me not want to come back.

First experience: Successful Second experience: A completely ruined birthday party because the cake was never actually prepared. I placed the order 5 days in advance for an important event. On the day itself, when I arrived to pick up the cake, I was simply informed that it had been delivered elsewhere. No satisfactory solution was offered despite the importance of the occasion. I do not recommend this establishment for a special event requiring reliability. Very disappointed with this experience.

We stumbled upon this little pastry shop in Essaouira quite by chance – and what a stroke of luck! 😍 We bought several different treats to choose from, including a gluten-free option. The shopkeeper was incredibly kind and welcoming and even packaged the gluten-free items separately and carefully – truly thoughtful and not something you'd expect. Everything tasted absolutely amazing: super fresh, perfectly balanced, and utterly delicious. A definite recommendation for anyone traveling in Essaouira – we'll definitely be back!

Good pastries, icing sugar on the mille-feuille would have been enough, very pleasant waitress.
