Ryad Meknassia

The price was different from the booking; it was 245 dirhams. I contacted the hotel owner to make the reservation, and after we arrived and unloaded all our luggage, he told me the price was 300 dirhams. The room had a non-working air conditioner, and with the humidity and heat, it was like being in a pressure cooker. There was no breakfast in the morning. The reception was good, and the conversation with the hotel owner was good too. The best thing was the location; otherwise, there are furnished apartments nearby for the same price of 300 dirhams. The hotel owner might recognize me, but that's not a problem. He provided a service and was paid for it, and it's my right to give my review.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad with my friend. The room was clean and quiet, and the terrace was lovely. It's also very close to the main attractions of Meknes. A big thank you to our hosts who were incredibly attentive, telling us about the city's history and recommending places to eat. As women traveling alone, we felt very welcome and had no safety concerns.

A pleasant, quiet guesthouse. I liked the interior. It's nice to sit on the terrace in the evening, but the view isn't great. We were the only ones in the hotel. Breakfast was good and filling, by local standards, where they bring you bread and spreads. At least here there were a variety of breads, not all the same. The downsides were the very weak Wi-Fi and the staff didn't speak English.

A very beautiful hotel, magnificently decorated with small, cozy, and clean rooms. The staff were very attentive and friendly; despite our very late arrival, we received a warm welcome. Just 5 minutes from the Medina, the souk, and the museum.

The manager is very welcoming and wonderful.

Ryad Dar Al Meknassia

I received a very poor welcome from an old man who has no training in hospitality or reception and who speaks vulgarly; moreover, the rooms were dirty with smells from the bathroom. I do not recommend this hotel.
