Dar Meknes Tresor ( RIAD in meknes)

Highly recommended. We had three nights here. This place has very friendly staff with excellent English language and very helpful to make your stay most enjoyable. It is well signposted and easy to walk to from the Bab Mansour. We were offered welcoming tea and plenty of helpful advice. Breakfast was excellent. Just be aware that the stairs and steps are quite steep and narrow within the building, but the staff more than helpful with carrying your bags :).

We stayed here last summer. It tells something about this place, that suddenly I felt like writing a review even though it's almost a year. Most amazing staff. Everything clean and beautiful. Homemade, fresh, spot on breakfast. Great location. Big thanks to the owner who organised us a taxi in the middle of the night as we were close to miss our flight. We made it in the end.

I can only recommend this Riad. Rashid, the kind and knowledgeable owner, made us feel right at home during our stay. The rooms are spacious and classically decorated and the breakfast is copious and varied. Our stay in Meknès was made extra special thanks to Rashid and his team. Thank you very much!

Beautiful riad in the middle of the action in meknes. Comes with a magical courtyard and a very calm and chilled terrace who will provide you with a beautiful view over meknes. Staff is extraordinarily helpful and kind, rooms are spacious and spotless clean. The filling breakfast is served at the balcony - perfect start every morning

Perfect location, right in the heart of the Madina. Beautifully restored Riad in classic Moroccon style. Very helpful staff. Great price, great rooms, great service, great breakfast. If you go to Meknes, this is the place to stay.

The dar mekness Tresor is a beautiful palace, located in the heart of the ancient town. The room was very clean and the staff was very kind (thank mr.Rachid for your kindness you are the best!!). The breakfast is served in a beautiful patio all decorated with wood and arabic plaster and all the food and drink is fresh and very good. The dar has a fantastic terrace where you can drink the tipical ment the!! I've appreciated the hospitality and the disponibility of the staff for every request... Alessandra and family

If you want to have a complete experience of Meknès you must stay in this amazing Dar. The host is super nice and friendly. The place is a piece of art. Extremely clean building in the heart of medina but make sure to contact the staff before you arrive to avoid entering from the wrong Gate of medina.

We are couple and we stayed here for 2 nights. We didn't book in advance and we came here to look at the rooms first. The riad is very simple, typical Moroccan Style. The staff Rashid is very friendly as you can easily communicate with him about history, culture and people of Morocco. It wasn't very busy during this season so he gave us a room of our choice for 300 Dh with breakfast. They do not ask for city tax, which other Riads in Casablanca and Rabat did ask. According to him the hotel is just completed 8 months ago. The set up of the rooms are basic and simple. Good shower with soaps (with argan oil), fresh towels every day, and a heater in the room, perfect for cold weather. Some Riads does not have heater AC. Even though the hotel is at the heart of the markets and above the clothing stores (that sells fake brands) it is very quiet during the night. If you are going by car, the secure parking place (20 Dh a day) is just next to the square of Lalla Aouda, 5 minutes from Riad. Just type in on your waze or google map, Lalla Aouda parking, behind Riad Yacout. Walking around the markets, old villages and other villages near Royal Horse Stable is fun and just accessible by walking from the Riad. There is a restaurant called Aisha and is 1 minute walk. We highly recommend this Riad as it is very close to everything.
