Unlike a state-of-the-art Sofitel hotel, this is a 300-year-old riad. Staying here feels completely different. The house is beautifully furnished and definitely offers a very different atmosphere than a large hotel. The rooms were very clean; there wasn't a single insect crawling anywhere. Breakfast is served on the roof, where you can also see the beach and the sea. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The hotel is quite conveniently located, and you can easily reach many places and sights on foot. If you have a rental car, you can park directly in front of the hotel on the harbor road for 25 dirhams per day. Dinner can also be booked. Our set menu was missing the salad, and the beef tagine didn't impress me, as the vegetables (green beans and peas) reminded me too much of the mixed vegetables in our cafeteria. The carrot and orange dessert, however, was a truly delightful surprise. The hotel is a little tricky to find on your first visit, as the paths leading there are often littered with dog poop and fish heads. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay at the riad. I would most likely stay here again – should I ever return. The pottery district is just a 5-minute walk uphill. Here you can watch all the steps of the pottery process. There's a huge selection of ceramics at the market; you're sure to find the perfect tagine there ;-)
Such a beautiful place, in a quiet and charming corner at the entrance to the medina. The manager is wonderful and the cook makes delicious meals. I'm not usually drawn to riads, but this one is very beautiful with lovely solid colors, beautiful rooms, and very pleasant showers. As for breakfast, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves—it's a real treat. Thank you again.
We received a very warm welcome from Amel, a lovely person who truly wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. She provided us with all the necessary information. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished, very clean, and absolutely perfect. The riad itself is magnificent. The breakfast is a truly authentic and very complete Moroccan breakfast. We recommend this establishment without hesitation.
The best hotel in three weeks, everything was perfect: the room, the cleanliness, the location right next to the souk. Amel, the manager, gave excellent advice and went out of her way to ensure our satisfaction. Ania made us fantastic breakfasts and an excellent beef and fish tagine. Well done and thank you!
A fantastic riad, very clean, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a museum-like atmosphere! Located right in the heart of the medina and offering a view from the rooftop terrace, which in the evening provides stunning sunsets over the sea. Perfect accommodation! Tres bon!
A charming guesthouse. Located in the heart of Safi's medina, it offers peace, authenticity, and a complete change of scenery. The service is impeccable.
I highly recommend it; the location is superb, both secluded and on the market street, the rooms are authentic and the terrace is magnificent, the breakfast is very good and the receptionist is kind and smiling.
Amazing place in the heart of the old town of Safi, close to all the noodles in town. Kind and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
