I had a great stay of two nights here. The owner is very hospitable and makes you feel at home right away. If you get lucky you might get to meet his cute granddaughter as well. The rooms are comfortable, and even though there is no Aircon, even in the summer, it was comfortable with the windows open. There is a fantastic view from the balcony where you can see the city and the beach. It’s an easy taxi ride or 15 minute walk plus short tram ride to get over to Rabat.

Bed and breakfast in a mosaic-covered, old-world setting! I love the atrium-centered design and high-roofed rooms. The hotel is in a historic part of the city with old walkways and fortifications that locals tell me were once used by the Barbary Pirates. It's not as snobby as some newer parts of Salé but just as safe. It's also a short walk to the nearby beaches, which have clear-water marinas for those with limited swimming skills that let out into the greater Atlantic for more ambitious swimmers. Nice restaurants and cafés with nice patios also line the nearby beach strand.

Couldn’t have asked for more in a host…Ahmed and his daughter were absolutely amazing and made our stay in Salé/Rabat feel like a second home. We were enthusiastically welcomed and they went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay comfortable. Their riad is a beautiful mix of coloured tiles, decorations and interior garden. Our room was very spacious, with all the essentials (hairdryer, towels, soap, hot water, internet, comfortable bed, breakfast) We would highly recommend reserving dinner in advance, to avoid disappointment on the night, as there are not too many restaurant nearby. We cannot recommend this place enough, especially to be within walk/car distance to the river/beach and to see Rabat from the north at night.

We had a good time staying at Dar Jabador. The owner and family, they were really friendly and attentive. We felt like we stayed at a cousin's house. The room was huge even no air-conditioned, but it was cool at night. The Riad is a historic 250 years old building. Wonderful place to stay, quiet and easy. Recommended.

The owner and his daughter are both amazing lovely people , which is why this place is ranked so high. Really nice fresh home made breakfast, and the riad is beautiful. The room could due with a vacuum, dusting, and a little more checking since the previous guests left big chunks of hair on the bathroom wall. The bathroom wall was also damaged and just left in this condition, and there was lose wiring on a light bulb. I wish the owners all the success and a happy life, but they should try and improve these little things and then the experience would be 10/10.

A family-owned and riad with nice rooms and great service. Everyone is very helpful and makes you feel welcome. Breakfast is included and is good. Easy to get to Rabat. 10-15 minute walk to the river and you cross with a row boat that goes all the time. Sale has a more local feel to it and does not have as much to do as Rabat.

We stayed in this riad for our one-day stop in Rabat/Sale. The location was great for seeing awesome sunset views of Rabat and exploring the old town of Sale. Additionally, great beaches are right on your doorstep. If you plan on seeing the Rabat medina more than once, however, it may be wise to stay in Rabat. proper. The owners were amazingly warm and welcoming, and accommodated all of our requests.

Clean and comfortable; parking nearby; friendly hosts. Breakfast was also good. We had a comfortable stay. The downside is that the water pressure is extremely low. They were also able to do one small bag of laundry for 80 for us which was helpful.
