Riad Al Madina Essaouira Hôtel

At first glance, it seems to be a beautiful hotel, with a beautiful location in the heart of the old city of Essaouira, close to all facilities.... They are characterized by good reception, but the drawback is that the rooms are narrow and cold and smell strongly of dampness, especially the rooms on the third floor, as the bathroom does not contain a hairdryer. , shampoo, and hair conditioner. I do not recommend it to anyone who suffers from allergies or asthma.

Beautiful decor and friendly staff. No aircon in most rooms.

Windowless airless room (3) that, unsurprisingly, reeked of mould in addition to the usual cigarette smoke. Upstairs plumbing so loud that you felt that each flush would empty into your bed. Many of the staff were surly. Breakfast average.

Quaint and quiet Excellent little hotel in an old building in the old walled part of town. All rooms are unique and situated on several floors around inner yards. It is an old building so some of the finish is dated but you have all you need. Our room was rather big and divided in bedroom and sitting room/hallway. It is quiet since there are no cars in the old town.

Great location in the heart of Medina of Essaouira. Breezy patio that serves as popular restaurant. Our room on first floor had sitting space at a lower level and bathroom upstairs, giving feeling like a cove. Staff very friendly. Hot water. They lock the space up at night so be careful if you like to go out early in the morning for stroll.

A piece of calm in the heart of the beautiful active Médina of Essaouira. Everything is clean and just perfect, a lot of green surrounding the rooms and patio. Definitely recommend. Coffee is excellent!

Shame as everything else was great. Had several bad experiences with the door man who was rude to my friends. Grumbled about opening the front door when I came back one night.

Great hotel. Sadly couldn't find my payment via booking.com despite me furnishing written proof. No apology. No attempt to check. I needed to leave so ended up paying twice.
