A charming, spacious, and impeccably clean Riad situated just beyond the lively Medina, close to major attractions. Nicolas, Soufiane, and the entire team were delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dinners on two evenings were superb and plentiful. Nicolas, the owner and French chef, was very kind and helpful in organising local taxis for our trips to Volubilis and the train station. Would unquestionably choose to stay here again.

We had a great lunch today with my husband at the restaurant of Palais Marouane. Even though we arrived pretty late for lunch, the host was very welcoming and cooked food for us. The food was really tasty. He also gave many useful tips for our travel in Meknes and in Marocco in general. I highly recommend the place, it was indeed a pleasant surprise for us.

The welcoming owner organized a private chauffeur-driven trip to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss for us within five minutes for €40. However, upon returning to Meknes, we discovered that all the attractions were closed for construction, so we were only able to see the mausoleum, located a stone's throw from the Riad, which is conveniently located in the city center. Having been unable to find a good restaurant nearby, we opted for dinner at the riad, and it was a great experience: soup + camel tagine with side dishes, all cooked by the owner + Moroccan dessert + water for €30 for two. The riad has a very beautiful internal courtyard. The suite is modest in size but extremely dark and smells musty. The heating didn't seem to work, the shower water was always lukewarm, and there weren't many towels, a bathroom mat, or a welcome kit. The TV has Netflix and other apps.

A friendly riad located in the heart of the medina, yet peaceful. A very warm welcome from the owner, Nicolas, and his assistant, Sofiane 👍 We ate at the riad regularly and thoroughly enjoyed the food 🤗 Camel tagine, barbecue, etc. – delicious and flavorful dishes 👌 (see photos). Nicolas also provided plenty of advice for sightseeing and excursions, clearly knowing his stuff and ensuring you have a most enjoyable stay 😉 As a frequent visitor to Marrakech, I discovered Meknes and loved it! It's calmer, cleaner, more relaxed... and truly beautiful! Don't hesitate!

We had a wonderful weekend at Palais Marouane; it was an absolutely exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Nicolas, Raja, and Sofiane. A special thank you to Nicolas, whose attention to detail greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. Nicolas offered excellent advice for our outings and meals. Sofiane and Raja were very helpful and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met with the utmost care. Nicolas introduced us to Moroccan cuisine, a true culinary delight featuring high-quality local products, much to the delight of the whole family. Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious, offering all the necessary comforts. You can also enjoy the traditional hammam, which can be reserved privately upon request. If you want an exceptional stay or vacation, don't hesitate to discover Palais Marouane and the renowned chef Nicolas. We will gladly return for an even longer stay. Thank you again to Nicolas and his team.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and the welcome was incredibly warm. I even regretted booking a riad nearby that didn't offer the same level of service. Unfortunately for us, it was fully booked. They even have a spa... The meal was delicious and visually stunning. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making for a truly pleasant experience. If I return to Meknes, I'll definitely book in advance to guarantee a table. If you're ever in Meknes, don't hesitate to stop by.
