Henna Cafe

Sadly today we were given different stories, wait till 11.45 for a Henna then told not doing them. We really wanted to spend our money where it could help but no. So up the road to Henna Louaya 3 min walk away in a Raid very good service with mint tea and a wider range of choices.

We went to the Henna Cafe with the hope of lunch and Henna for me. After being made to wait for about 20 mins while one girl took on another customer and 4 or 5 other staff talked amongst themselves and ate we waited. There was no acknowledgement of us at all. While waiting there were two cats in heat and one was spraying wherever it could. The place was dirty and terrible service we decided to definitely not eat there. I did get Henna, but I would suggest you go elsewhere. It did not last at all. I have had it before so did all I needed to to take care of but the product wasn't quality. This was very unfortunate for me as I loved the idea of supporting these women.

Disappointing. We stopped here as heard it was community-run, nonprofit and wanted to support. Unfortunately, many dishes unavailable, food very overpriced for what was really only beans, salad and (very bad) falafel. Be warned that prices inside are different to prices displayed outside. Difficult to recommend.

I love the art work its so detailed and the people are lovely.

We got there because of henna. They told us they work with natural henna so at first it would be orange and then turn brown. The stain would stay around two weeks. This was done this afternoon and it’s already looking washed away, I spent 60€. If you want henna simply don’t go there. Unless you want something that looks 2weeks old the same day you get it.

Food tastes great! Freshly-made and big portions for little money! Very cozy little rooftop! All veggy!
