One of our favorite restaurants! The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere were absolutely wonderful. We truly enjoyed our time here. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the eggplant appetizer was my favorite—it reminded me of a dish from back home. We also tried the local wine, which was delicious. The cherry on top was when the DJ played a Moroccan/Albanian mix of music for us. We had such a blast and it made the whole experience even more special.
Le Grand Bazaar is our penultimate restaurant in Marrakesh. Top notch, friendly service (yes that’s you Abdul and Mohammed) and a unique atmosphere. We had the chicken tagine and the tanjia. The house wine was acceptable and there were delicious desserts to finish. A really delightful way to spend the evening. We were entertained by a magician, an excellent guitarist called Simon and two belly dancers. Finally we were given some complimentary shots. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned the following evening.
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. We made same day reservations so getting in was easy. The service was impeccable, everyone was kind and attentive the whole time. We got the lamb chop and tanjia and both were fantastic, even pouring the tanjia out in front of me. A very cool ambiance with a great view. It had authentic Moroccan food while still being accessible and welcoming to us as tourists. My favorite spot we ate at, would recommend.
A lovely restaurant (was my favourite in Morocco). Staff are just so friendly. Definitely recommend making a reservation a few weeks before you travel. Food was lovely, portion sizes on the smaller side but fine for me as had room for dessert, which was AMAZING!! There was live singing and a great magic man during the night. Do not miss this one and right in the main square.
The experience was absolutely exquisite — without a doubt some of the best food I have ever had. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and presented perfectly. The atmosphere made the evening even more special, with a great vibe and exceptional service throughout. A special mention goes to Slaah, who is genuinely the best bartender I have ever seen. Not only were the cocktails incredible, but he was also able to craft unique, exquisite cocktails completely on demand, tailored perfectly to our tastes. His creativity, skill, and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. Every drink felt like a work of art. Overall, an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food, outstanding cocktails, and top-tier hospitality.
We had the Rfissa and Tangia... both delicious as was the dessert! The atmosphere was also lovely. I mainly want to commend the staff for their excellent customer service. They were funny and friendly, gave us blankets when it was cold and did their best to make us comfortable during the storm that occurred. I highly recommend.
• This is where I sesh in Marrakech. • Such a great team. • Great restaurant all-around. • Kids will love the "oddities" consuming this beautiful restaurant. • A 100yo+ old hotel meticulously transformed into a charming, professional, entertaining, and truly legit one-of-a-kind dining experience in th heart of Marrakech. • Othmane, Abdo, Rashid, and the sweet ladies who keep the place in check are TOP-NOTCH! I miss them all already. • Great place to grab pint and people-watch. • Was there during FIFA and it was amazing. • Dancers, magicians, DJ, musicians, USA whoopin' Australia in their huge screen excellent service, great vibes... what else can you ask for. • Opens at Noon. Be there or be SQUARE. 🤙🏽😀
This review will be full of praise — be warned 😁 Le Grand Bazar in Marrakech is simply amazing. We spent three days in the city, and every single day we came back here. After a long flight, we had dinner here on our first evening. We were tired and asked if they could keep our bottle of wine — they kindly agreed, which immediately set the tone for the whole experience. The food is exceptional. We highly recommend the local specialties — especially the tagines and starters. Everything was incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The service deserves a standing ovation: attentive, warm, and incredibly fast. This level of hospitality is rare, even in Europe, and truly feels sincere rather than forced. And of course, the interiors are absolutely stunning — elegant, atmospheric, and unforgettable. Huge thanks to the entire team — a must-visit place in Marrakech!
