The owner's family stole money from my locked room while I was away. This is a family operation, so it's not like there are any flighty staff members that can be fired to solve the problem. Do not stay here, this doesn't look like it's the first time, either.

A wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The owners are welcoming and very generous. The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious (you'll find the best Italian coffee you can get here in Morocco!), and the view from the terrace is incredible. ++ Located in the heart of the Portuguese fort, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's a little haven of tranquility, perfect for a few days' stay. (The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and charm of the place.)

The breakfast was really good and plentiful, but the rooms leave a little to be desired. They're dated, and the bathroom, although equipped with a bidet, is quite rundown. The staff, however, is friendly and helpful.

As my friend said, "Only lovers will survive." Strolling through the small streets, you find yourself in a different Morocco, more mysterious and authentic... Upon returning home, you're greeted by the hospitable Massimo and a very cozy room. The house is atmospheric and perhaps even magical.

Pros: Located right in the old town, close to everything. There's a rooftop terrace where you can sit in the evenings. You can buy wine (150Mad), beer, etc. The staff was quite friendly – an Italian and a Moroccan. There was mold in the room – on the ceiling, on the walls! and in the bathroom. It smelled bad, and it wasn't very clean. The breakfast was very poor – coffee and pancakes reheated in the microwave from the previous day! What's more, the Moroccan waitress was asking for a tip for such a breakfast.

A lovely little place, where you feel right at home with Massimo. It's located in the Portuguese Quarter, just around the corner from the cistern. From here, you can quickly reach the souk, the harbor, and from there the beach. A two-hour walk along the beach will take you to the shipwreck. We spent a few relaxing days here after the stress of Marrakech and Fez. Hot showers and clean beds. A magnificent view of the sea.

Excellent accommodation, parking for the motorbike, video surveillance within the walls, easy access, the owner is very kind, abundant breakfast with excellent service. I recommend it, especially as a point of reference for any help. For motorcyclists it's super.
