A Stunning and Unique Stay in the Heart of the Old Town This place is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of the old town, blending charm, history, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you’re struck by the vibrant energy and the social, friendly vibe. Many guests seem to stay for weeks, creating a sense of community that’s rare to find in similar accommodations. It’s the perfect spot for travelers seeking connection and conversation. The building itself is steeped in history, which adds to its character. While this charm comes with some quirks—such as slightly unusual kitchen and bathroom layouts—these only enhance the unique experience. The upper and lower floors, however, are exceptional, offering some of the most stunning spaces you could hope to find. Whether it’s the decor, the architecture, or the cozy atmosphere, it’s easy to fall in love with this place. One of the standout features is the no-alcohol policy. It creates a refreshing, peaceful environment that encourages meaningful interactions among guests. And if you’re a foodie, you’re in for a treat! The mussels tajine is a must-try, perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. It’s just one of the many thoughtful touches that make this stay memorable. Overall, this stunning retreat in the old town offers a unique blend of history, community, and charm. It’s a wonderful place for those looking for a social yet peaceful experience in a truly special setting. Highly recommended!
Many good things about this hostel but there's enough positive reviews to cover them so I'll just Highlight some things to keep in consideration: 1. The rooftop isn't super welcoming, the time I was there the chairs were stacked, and one one was ever there. The nice part of the rooftop may only be used by people who order something at the restaurant. 2. Being the cheapest Hostel in town, it attracts all kinds of travellers. I had the misfortune of sharing my room with someone who stole my sweater. Big thanks to the staff for checking the security cameras to see if I misplaced it though. 3. You get a blanket and one sheet of bed linen, I preferred to put it between my and the mattress but then you get the wool blanket directly on your skin which gets white scratchy and it's not the type of blanket that can be washed often. 4. People smoke a lot indoors, when it's busy you really feel it. 5. Very loud with speakers and drums until 11pm, not much quieter when you're in your room.
The Hostel was fine, but definitely not the best for the price. Breakfast wasn’t included. The building is old and everything was damp. The bathrooms weren’t clean and there was drums and people talking very loudly outside our room until 2 am. The shared room was incredibly small. But the terrace was nice and the staff friendly. I wouldn’t come back unless I had to.
Got back home couple of days ago and looking back the Atlantic hostel was the best place we stayed in Morocco. The atmosphere is awesome. The dinner is great. The vibe, the dancing and live music in the evening are unforgettable. Couscous, the owner can teach you about Moroccan culture and cuisine and is a great person to be around. Some bathrooms are a bit small and one of the members of staff seamed a bit lost. But other then that it was an awesome experience, that I couldn't recommend more.
As expected for a hostel. Private rooms are small but enough space. Shared toilets and showers seemed clean. Have live music every night. We were on the top floor under the terrace and the band playing could be heard in our room clearly. Not great if you want an early night's sleep.
It was a good experience, staff was friendly and helpful at all times . Room was clean and no issues. Breakfast was good to eat. I would highly recommend this hostel to my friends, very convenient location. Also they have an amazing group of music, live music all nights.
