Extremely disappointing experience — would not recommend

I rarely leave reviews, but this visit was so poor that I feel obligated to warn others. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was unwelcoming. The receptionist (I believe her name was Hiba or something similar) seemed visibly annoyed and made no effort to be hospitable. Communication was incredibly difficult — barely anyone spoke English, which made everything even more frustrating, especially at a spa that supposedly caters to international clients.

The hammam treatment was honestly painful. The exfoliating glove was used so aggressively that it felt like my skin was being scratched off. There was no gentleness, no attention to comfort. The massage afterward was just as bad — I kept asking for lighter pressure, but the masseur ignored me completely. It was clear the staff lacked any real training or qualifications.

What shocked me most was the way tips were handled. At the end, they didn’t politely suggest a tip — they demanded it. Not just for the two staff members who did the treatments, but even for the receptionist, who had been rude the entire time and did absolutely nothing to improve the experience. That alone felt very inappropriate.

The cleanliness left much to be desired. The towels were damp, the rooms smelled musty, and everything felt unhygienic and poorly maintained. On top of that, they tried to pressure me into leaving a five-star review before I even left — completely unethical.

Absolutely terrible experience — avoid at all costs

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this spa was beyond disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist (a woman named Hiba or Hia, I believe) looked annoyed and unwelcoming. Nobody spoke proper English, so basic communication was extremely frustrating — not something you expect at a place catering to international guests.

The hammam session was horrifying. The glove scrub felt more like they were trying to peel off my skin — genuinely painful and done with zero care. The massage afterward was no better. I repeatedly asked for less pressure, but my requests were completely ignored. It’s obvious the staff have no proper training or certification — just random people pretending to be professionals.

To top it all off, at the end they demanded tips — not only for the two men who did the procedures (which I could maybe understand) but also for the receptionist, who did absolutely nothing but act rude. Not suggested — demanded. That alone is a huge red flag.

The place was also not clean — towels were damp, the rooms smelled musty, and it felt like they hadn’t cleaned properly in weeks. They even tried to force me to leave a five-star review before leaving, which is absolutely unethical.

We paid a lot of money for what felt like a scam. Do yourself a favor — skip this place and spend that money on a great meal at a proper restaurant instead. I wouldn’t recommend this spa to anyone. Ever.
