Unico Hôtel Casablanca

The room was okay. The hotel is run not to last. Replacements and repairs are made where absolutely necessary without having long term consequences in mind. Otherwise it was very clean, an aircondition is available, the matrass were from the harder kind and in good condition, some water, a water cooker, tea, instant caffee, television, electrical plug and wifi was available and functional, the breakfast was more than we need. The staff was very kind. Always with a smile and helpful.

Ideal distance to the main spot of Casablanca, the Mosque! Hotel rooms are clean and spacey. But shower had less volume, and it was clogged. Wifi was very slow and basic (cannot use it for watching anything, or video call etc), English speaking is limited. Friendly personnel.

Sarah and her team ensured our stay in Casablanca was a complete success. The location is ideal, close to the coast. The hotel is comfortable. The staff were discreet, available, and attentive to our needs. An added bonus for this intimate hotel is its spa, which opened this week. I personally opted for the hammam and massage treatment. I highly recommend it.

A dingy hotel. Huge cockroaches roam the rooms. Windows that don't close. TV cables ripped out... The owner doesn't respond to any requests for a refund. Avoid at all costs. The staff explained to me that no work has been undertaken to improve the situation at this hotel, which is barely six months old. The previous reviews all seem to have been written by the owner's family. I strongly advise against staying here, unless you're a fan of insects and filth. ------------------------------------------------------- Response to the hotel's ramblings: You've clearly got the wrong customer! I arrived at 2 PM. I never mentioned a defective bed. I didn't post any photos of your hotel. I have no friends who have commented on your hotel (and the other comment about cockroaches dates back several months before my stay... I'm not a visionary yet). It seems you're inundated with complaints, yet you're still lumping in with your "scammed" guests. I paid for your "hotel," politely requested a refund after 5 minutes in the room, and you promised to reimburse me. It's been 3 weeks and you still haven't done anything! For your part, you're lying, confusing me with another customer, talking about photos, beds, etc.... None of that is true. Reread my comment, reply to your WhatsApp messages and emails, and get your act together...

A respectable hotel with fairly spacious rooms. I stayed there for two nights; all the restaurants are nearby. Parking is a drawback, but they have a driver who can find you a spot.

The staff at the Unico Hotel were multilingual, facilitating communication.
