We loved it here, location can't be beat it was right in the middle of the medina but quiet once inside. Breakfast was so good!! The Riad was decorated in lovely traditional Moroccan decor and absolutely spotless. The host was very friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again The video was taken from the rooftop which is where you also eat breakfast. We loved listening to the call to prayer from up there it echoes across the city and was just magic ☺️
The best riad we have stayed at in Morocco by far! A massive shoutout to Omar for being so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The rooms are impeccable with beautiful decor, very comfortable beds, and well aired with an aircon. Pleasantly surprised by all the lovely smells everywhere in the riad. The location is perfect as it is in the centre of the medina so you have easy access to all attractions in the city. Thank you for being a highlight to my trip in Morocco. I highly recommend Riad Tingus to anyone visiting the mystical city of Tangier.
Nice place if you want to stay in the old city. The rooms are small and walls are too thin that you can hear people in the next room. They have this rule that you need to stay quiet between midnight and 8am so that is a plus. Also their breakfast is amazing. Definitely a good choice for the old city. 2 nights can be enough.
I’ve travelled to Marrakesh, Fes, Rabat and Agidir … by far this was the best looking, smelling place with such good service. I was about to lose all hope in these ‘Riads’ but was pleasantly surprised. Omar was super kind and attentive, he even accommodated our dietary requirements without asking. The rooms are beautiful, clean and smell great. Aired well too… A huge thank you to whomever manages the property! It’s made a big difference to my vacation!
Let me start by saying that this Hotel EXCEEDED by far my expectations! First of all, the Hotel Manager, Omar, has ALWAYS been available and extremely kind all the time. I would text him on WhatsApp multiple times a day to reserve taxis and get information, and he would reply immediately. When we arrived at the Hotel, Omar showed us the beautiful bedroom and the facilities and later took us to the breathtaking terrace where he offered us typical Moroccan mint green tea. The room and the bathroom were very spacious, clean with excellent Wi-Fi speed coverage. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! The lady prepared different plates with all kinds of food and beverages. The Hotel is located in the heart of Tangier, the Medina. All the typical restaurants, markets, and sightseeing are a few feet away, so there is no better spot where to stay. Thank you again, Omar, for being always available and ready to help. You're the best Hotel Manager I have met in many years of traveling worldwide.
We enjoyed our stay at Riad Tangis, they welcomed us with Moroccan tea, everything was very elegant, the traditions of the decor are visible, the traditional Moroccan breakfast on the terrace wow. The sunrise is the best thing you can get from Riad Tangis. I recommend it
If you want to be in the thick of it all, in the heart of the old Medina full of off the beaten path roads and never ending shops full of quality counterfeit designer bags then this is a great place to stay. A Riad is a typical Moroccan home where the families all grow old in the same house, the fist floor is typically reserved for the parents while the second is reserved for the children and the third is for when the eventually marry. The views on the roof are stunning and the breakfast is delicious. The staff is super helpful and speak multiple languages so u can always communicate what you need. BUT BE WARNED, this is a secluded location with limited parking so if ur traveling with a baby you might want to double think that. Plus the beds need an update but other than those two things, it’s the perfect Moroccan accommodation.
Very well located in the heart of Tangier's medina. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast and fantastic panoramic views. Nice rooms. Air conditioning works. It would be helpful to remind guests upon arrival and in the rooms that quiet is expected in the courtyard in the mornings. Spanish guests, in particular, seem to have a tendency to talk loudly. Breakfast is served at 8:30.
