Riad Hmam Sofa

We loved staying in this small, simple and pleasant riad. Mohamed who runs the place, is super! He goes the extra mile to offer good service! Our room was rather small but the beds are comfortable. Some rooms have a small seating area connected but there are terraces outside where you can enjoy relaxing times and so we did.

A magnificent experience! This riad is incredibly welcoming, calm, and warm, decorated with great care by Yousef, who also owns a beautiful leather shop in the souk. The location is ideal, close to the souk and the square. Mohamed welcomes you as if you were family, with kindness and dedication. He will gladly advise you on attractions to visit and good restaurants, although it's also possible to eat at the riad if you let him know in advance. The riad is very well laid out, with cozy little spaces perfect for relaxing, and the rooms are functional. The bedding is impeccable. It boasts a lovely terrace overlooking the square and a small jacuzzi. Finally, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. In short, a place to absolutely recommend, truly an excellent address. A wonderful riad, tastefully decorated. Close to the souks and numerous restaurants in the city center, it's surprisingly quiet as it's located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Our host, Mohammed, worried we might get lost in the narrow streets, picked us up outside the city. Throughout our stay, he gave us advice on what to see in Taroudant and the surrounding area, and even accompanied us when he was available. Also worth noting: the very comfortable bedding and the generous and absolutely delicious breakfast. We can't wait to return to Taroudant and stay at this riad again!
