Riad Dar Yanis

Gorgeous little Riad in the heart of the Medina, location is excellent, walkable to the train station. Stunning mosaic tiles around the Riad, lovely rooftop, delicious breakfast. Very friendly owners who make you feel very at home, price is great, highly recommend!

Housed in a small but lovely riad, very well situated in a quiet and picturesque alley off a busy street. Plenty of food, cafe and shopping options steps away. Hosts are pleasant and helpful and breakfast is a perfect start to the day.

The room was comfortable and clean, including the bathroom. Everything was in order, the only downside being that it was on the ground floor, so there was little privacy and a bit of noise. The guy who greeted us was really cold, and the welcome was very lackluster. The location, just steps from the main street of the medina, was excellent. Breakfast was also good.

The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, air conditioning, and a bathroom in excellent condition. The staff was lovely, and the location was superb, right in the heart of the medina, on a side street off the main road. The breakfast was plentiful, with drinks, juice, fruit, yogurt, and various types of bread. The only downside was that we couldn't have breakfast on the rooftop terrace.

The staff were attentive and friendly. This riad is very pleasant, typical, and, above all, well located in the medina. The breakfast was generous. The only minor drawback was the lack of double glazing, so it was sometimes a little noisy from the street (nothing serious, though). If you want to spend a few days in the medina, this is a charming place.

A very quiet and well-maintained riad. Ideally located in a cul-de-sac in the old Medina. An unforgettable experience! Imad gives you a warm welcome and is very attentive to his guests. Knowing the city very well, he gave us excellent advice on places to discover in Rabat.

We loved our stay here! The staff went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable (French is the language to use; not much English spoken). Breakfast was good and filling: coffee (or tea), a pastry, bread with jam or honey, and traditional Moroccan breads. The location is right in the heart of the Medina but we didn’t hear a sound at night. Lovely terrace. Highly recommended. We look forward to coming back soon.

The location is very good with access to most attractions in the area. Strangely, the place cancelled my stay AFTER I checked out claiming I didn't show up. I didn't like the fact that one has to ring the bell and a staff member has to open the door each time one returns to the room. The staff are very nice, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast included is a joke because it's not only very simple, but also quite an unhealthy amount of fat, sugar, and white flour. I think the management should consider revising the menu and adding healthier options. The other problem is that, given the nature and design of the place, one can hear every voice and every conversation outside one's room. Overall, despite it being a very nice place with awesome staff, it's not my type of place for the above-mentioned reasons.
