Frankly, I do not comprehend 5 star reviews. We had reserved two rooms for one night. 1st room: Uncomfortable bed, clogged sink, poor lighting, half used bottles of cheap soap and shampoo. 2nd room: All the above plus cockroaches. Breakfast was low quality sweet products. We refused to eat. The landlady was rude and demanded cash as payment. We refused to pay cash.

Inside Medina, a bit of a challenge if you come by car, but the very helpful and friendly staff cover it all for you. The young girl from the Riad took us to the parking, helped us with getting the luggage to the hotel and helped with anything and everything we asked for. Very extensive breakfast, welcome tea on arrival, all was great. The room itself was a bit too humid, a bit difficult on a warm night.
