Riad Dar Maktoub

We absolutely loved our stay there. The room felt very Moroccan, sparsely decorated but truly authentic with some woolen rugs on the floor, heavy wooden furniture and an old little stove that was left just to add character to the room. The bed was super comfortable, it was the best sleep ever for us on a vacation. The place is quiet, surrounded by a beautiful garden, there is a swimming pool with sun lounges and a terrace outside the restaurant that servers amazing meals. Hospitality was exceptional from all the staff, a special thanks to Manu, she was very welcoming and helpful. There is a dog and a cat there. The dog thinks he owns the place, but it's really the cat who does

A beautiful riad with lovely pool area. The hotel felt like it was in a little secret garden, with all lush tropical plants and trees. Our family suite was beautiful and spacious, we only stayed one night as we were starting a tour of southern Morocco, but we would have happily have stayed longer. We ate lunch by the pool in the afternoon and dinner in the restaurant in the evening, both lovely. Breakfast was also very good. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Agadir who wishes to get away from the many larger package holiday type resorts in the city. Our children loved the pool!

We loved everything about our stay at Dar Maktoub, especially the food, the pool, and the wonderful staff. Would definitely book there again!
