Prices are high, but it tasted freshly cooked. Nice family gome
This was the BEST food we have eaten in Morrocco, the guy who served us was very friendly and his mother's cooking was delicious. Would recommend for a traditional experience with home cooking.
A truly authentic experience. Dining in Ya Hala feels like being welcomed into a Moroccan family’s home. The chicken tagine with olives and lemon was outstanding and the freshly squeezed orange juice was incredible. Warm hospitality, amazing food, unbeatable value. Highly recommend
Really nice restaurant with a very friendly host. The food was home cooked and made by the mom of the host and that made for a very authentic and amazing taste! Overall great experience and really recommend going there!
Wonderful place with really great food. Highly recommending.
Don’t be fooled by the quiet exterior. This tiny, family-run spot is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic experience. What looks closed at first glance is actually an invitation into a private home through a small, unassuming door. The hospitality is warm and genuine, with the owner’s mother preparing every dish from scratch. We had the chicken and vegetable couscous, which was incredibly flavorful and comforting. The owner mentioned a 35-minute wait for the couscous, and he was spot on. Be sure to enjoy the homemade bread while you wait: it’s absolutely delicious.
The chicken tagine was tasty and service was very friendly. A good stop if you’re looking for food in Meknes.
The best tagine I’ve had in all of Morocco! Loved that it’s family owned and run for generations. Mum’s in the kitchen while her kids serve you, warm, authentic, scrumptious!
