Restaurant PETIT BIJOU

Great place. Ate here my 1st night in TanTan. A little language barrier if you dont speak French or Arabic. Desserts are delicious. Staff, workers were friendly and helpful.

We stayed for a quick lunch, 8 persons. We got excelent pastries, meatballs and drink. Very kind hosts

The food was very good. Be careful with the bill; the price paid did not match the menu, which was only available in Arabic. After taking a photo of it and having it translated, we noticed the discrepancy. Ask for the price when ordering.

We ordered one chicken Tajine, one beaf dish and one Marocain soup. Surprise at the end, price was almost doubled. The waiter says he double the volume of beaf because we were 3 and he adds accessories for the soup, 3 dates, 1 egg, even we nevered ordered those. We refused to pay the extra, very bad experience with dishonest poeple.

Very expensive couscous and not very good.

Friendly welcome, very clean place (the restaurant is located behind the small reception area), pleasant atmosphere, decent food. Prices too high (200 DM for a tagine for two), probably based on how much they think they can get away with it…
