I recently visited Le Jardin and unfortunately my experience did not meet expectations. Firstly, the table we were given was not the one we had arranged in advance. It was located in a cold area of the restaurant, with no heating, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the service was disappointing. The staff came across as unfriendly and lacking basic courtesy, which further affected the overall atmosphere. As for the food, the quality was reasonable, but it did not justify the high prices, especially considering the setting and overall experience. Overall, I believe there is significant room for improvement, particularly in terms of customer service and comfort.
I mostly would complain about the time it took them to prepare a salade plus I went there specifically for a paella which they didn't have in their menu and they didn't have running watter
Great for single women. I feel very welcomed here while teaching in Berrechid. Fantastic breakfast for 25 MAD including bread, pastries, porridge, coffee or tea, juice, cheese, yogurt, olives and honey. Honey maybe because the name means Hive of the Garden.
I’m not Moroccan but have been living in Berrechid and visited this place several times, mainly because it's close to home, not for the food, which has always been below average. The environment is sometimes nice, which is why I kept giving it a chance. However, my last visit was completely unacceptable and will be my last. I brought a birthday cake to celebrate with four friends during an animation day. We waited 45 minutes without any service. Eventually, the manager (a woman in hijab) came over and rudely assumed we were only there to eat cake and wouldn’t be ordering anything. We explained we had been waiting, but no one came. I had to go to the counter myself just to place our order. Most items were unavailable, so we settled for mojitos. The drinks were terrible! Sugar syrup mixed with flat Sprite where we couldn't even finish them. What made things worse was how we were treated. I’ve brought cakes to many other establishments in Morocco to celebrate friends’ birthdays and never had an issue. But here, they tried to embarrass us in front of other guests. When we went to pay, they suddenly charged us 200 MAD for bringing a cake, reduced to 100 MAD after arguing, a fee that was never communicated beforehand. Staff insisted they told us, which was not true, and remained rude and defensive. I usually try to be patient and understanding, but this place crossed the line. The food is bad, the hygiene is questionable, and the service is beyond poor. This final experience made it clear: this restaurant does not deserve our time, money, or support.
Mediocre food, expensive. And a roach was literslly climbing the wall. I get shivers just thinking about it. Moroccan restaurants are so unclean, idk if its related to the culture or does water cost them more? Toilets were also super unclean, it wasnt even crowded, so i dont understand the lack of hygiene at all. I hate this place! Do not reccomend!
