Restaurant Bayt Al Assil

We came for lunch after seeing positive reviews on social media. Unfortunately the restaurant does not live up to what is portrayed online. We were told to go to the butcher and purchase our meat, and bring it back to the table for the waiter to take to the grill. We asked the butcher for fat free Kefta. He went into the back room and brought out ground beef with no seasoning. We asked the butcher three times if they would be adding spices and he clearly stated more than once to ask our waiter to communicate to the grill to add spices. This seemed inefficient to us but we did so. Our waiter brought out tafernout bread which was cold although the restaurant wasn’t full. The fried fish had no salt in it. The fries are unfortunately frozen and not fresh. And unfortunately the kefta came out with absolutely ZERO seasoning. Not even salt. When this was communicated to management they did absolutely nothing to rectify this problem. The overall service is just lazy and unprofessional.

I love it. It is the best restaurant in the world for me. The food was perfect and the service was excellent too. I will come back for sure !!
