Restaurant Baraka

One of the best couscous I've had in Morocco and I've been here 6 months! The food is delicious, the ambiance is amazing, it's like stepping in a secret place, truly unforgettable, and host is wonderful!

We went for mostly vegetarian dishes because we ate too much meat in the past days. Really amazing couscous, tajine, Zelouk, etc. Also Bastilla great. Recommended!!

Did not honor posted hours. Wanted to eat here based on availability of vegetarian options. They did not let us in during their business hours, they apparently have enough customers and business, they are ok turning away hungry people.

Awful place to visit No bell, a sign that says _knock_, then you follow the instructions, wait forever, and get screamed at by an angry old man? And on top of that — they’re full but don’t bother to put up a sign? That’s just bad management and taking it out on you. The hairdresser at the next door was very friendly to help A place to avoid absolutely

The owner is very kind and his food is some of the best we had in Morocco! Be patient if you knock on the door and he doesn’t open immediately. It is worth the wait!

Follow the map, and signs on the street, to reach this oasis in the medina. Everything, form the dishes, to the tea, to the ambient, the service, to the atmosphere and music, is spot on. The food is still the star, and you have to try it. The meat is delicious. The pastilla was the best we tried in 10 days of touring Morocco.

Everything is amazing here! The food, the ambiance and the service. The food is prepared by the owner's wife. If you're unsure about a starter, just take the Zaalouk. 😉 Be aware that you have to knock. If the owner has to cater to the guests inside the restaurants first, he will not open you right away. So you might have to be patient for a few minutes but its worth the wait and shows the owner's priorities!

Noureddine was an incredible host. My son had the camel meatballs and I had the beef tajine with cinnamon. The food was amazing, the house was comfortable and cozy, and the service was kind. Absolute must-visit.
