Absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken tagine and it came piping hot— it was so good I had to pause to stop myself from burning my tongue. The waiters are kind and funny. The view as well reminds you of how beautiful Tangier is. I would highly recommend Maimouni.

This Moroccan restaurant features a rooftop terrace overlooking the Port of Tangier and a second-floor seating area. The entrance is located on the bustling Dab Dar Dbagh street. The location is fantastic! I ordered the chicken and vegetable tajine, but... the flavor left a bit to be desired. I didn't really get a sense of the rich, savory flavors that should come from the ingredients. Also, they don’t accept credit cards—cash only. They told me to go to an ATM if I didn’t have cash. (I had enough cash on me to pay, so I didn’t go to the ATM lol, but MAD is a currency that can’t be taken out of the country. For example, people coming on a day trip from Tarifa should be careful.)
