Ouarzazate Le Riad Hotel

Big hotel with a pool and friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Outdated interiors, old towels. Not the best mattresses (matter of preference, for me too hard). They should have designated rooms for smokers. Now most rooms keep this smell. WiFi works not all the time.

Friendly staff who do their best to compensate for the owners' negligence. A very beautiful hotel that is falling into ruin due to poor management and maintenance. Everything is outdated: beds, mattresses, TVs, even the sun lounger mattresses... But the worst thing is the crib; the nails are visible, making it dangerous. It's a disgrace for our children's safety. The food was like school lunches, and even then, it was terrible! We were charged over 400 dirhams for three people. For that price in Morocco, you can get an exceptional meal. It's such a shame for such a beautiful place!

This hotel is in a horrid state of disrepair. I'd be willing to film a horror movie there but not to touch the blankets. (We literally forfeited our money and left immediately). It was pitch black in the hallways, trash everywhere, a rusted out and abandoned pool. Broken and faded lawn chairs laying around... It was shocking and I felt bad for the tour groups forced to endure the fleas and crumbling buildings. Also, the hotel name is likely designed to be confusing. It's not a riad and its not the very famous and nice Ouarzazate Riad. My guess is the ratings we so poor they changed the name online to get a fresh start. Dont be fooled. There are certainly better places to stay.
