I am always very critical when it comes to food, but for the first time, I taste the passion in the food.

Café Review I honestly found this café in Gueliz very overrated and disappointing. The prices are extremely high compared with other cafés in the area — in many cases, the menu items are at least double the price elsewhere. How can a modern cafe have no aircon in Marrakesh! Especially when their prices are sky high and more expensive thank France! The coffee was particularly disappointing: poor quality, served in a very small cup, and simply not worth the price. The desserts were also seriously overpriced for what you actually get. It feels like this café has become popular largely because it is trending on TikTok, rather than because the food, coffee, or overall experience genuinely deserves the hype. If you’re visiting Marrakech and looking for good coffee and desserts, there are plenty of other cafés in Gueliz offering better quality at much more reasonable prices. Overall: massively overhyped, overpriced, and not somewhere I would bother visiting again. Don’t believe all the TikTok hype!

Careful with Glovo orders and allergies. On the Glovo platform this restaurant doesn’t have an allergy field. Before ordering we spoke with Glovo directly by phone and were told that the allergy was accepted and to place our order, unfortunately they don’t honor the allergy and do not refund. Glovo told us the restaurant refused refund or replacement. Otherwise the food looked very nice but sadly we lost our money and sat hungry for nearly 2 hours. Maybe better to go in person if you have allergies; but I’d discourage trust in delivery. Staff strongly denied refusing the replacement and spent an added 90 minutes talking to us asking us to arrange our own courier only in the end to change their position and ask us to pay a second time for the replacement.

A lovely experience at Amaj pastry shop! The snack bar is fantastic, and they offer great drinks! The desserts are good, although they could be a little more distinctive. I recommend it.

KFC is one of the cleanest fast-food restaurants I’ve visited. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The chicken is delicious, crispy, and freshly prepared. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, and everything—from the restaurant itself to the food—felt very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially the KFC at the train station

A truly wonderful discovery. The place is clean and uncluttered, with a beautiful display case showcasing mouthwatering pastries and viennoiseries. Yes, the prices are high—you're warned by checking Google. But here, the quality is exceptional and makes you forget the bill. I had the farm-fresh egg omelets: few restaurants offer this, cooked to such perfect perfection. I had seconds because they were so delicious, accompanied by a lovely little salad. The Eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection. The Turkish Eggs were also a delight. That says it all. We didn't leave a single bite on any plate; everything was truly delicious. The only downside—and this is an important point—is the lack of permanent air conditioning. The portable unit creates unpleasant humidity in the dining room. At lunchtime, we saw customers fanning themselves with the menu, and I personally started to sweat. This heat made us leave earlier than planned—a shame, because with a proper fixed installation we would gladly stay longer… and use more energy. A real investment that would benefit everyone. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We'll be back.

AMAJ is one of the best places in Marrakech; the food is excellent and healthy. The pain au chocolat, croissants, and all the pastries are superb. I highly recommend it. Special mention to Mounir, the pastry chef.
