Le Palais des Sables

A marvelous palace nestled in the heart of the medina of Taroudant, surrounded by ancestral ramparts and bordered by the Atlas mountains, it is a bubble of relaxation with its beautiful rooms with crackling fireplaces and its attentive staff, Touria the housekeeper is wonderful and the food is excellent and prepared with great care, her team gives the feeling of being enveloped in a cocoon of generosity.

An extraordinary stay! An incredible team that took exceptional care of us. Second stay… another exceptional experience! We had the pleasure of working with sports coach Geoffroy. Absolutely fantastic! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

The service and Moroccan cuisine were as magnificent as ever. We enjoyed the pool and the tranquility of the riad. The personal trainer was very pleasant, and the massages were relaxing. The team was attentive and caring. Taroudant is a very welcoming city, and the surrounding area is beautiful; a visit to the oasis is highly recommended.

Great stay in an exceptional Riad

The palace is magnificent and has all the amenities you could wish for: a fantastic swimming pool, a hammam—although it's even more fun to go to the real public hammam just around the corner. The staff is incredibly kind; you simply don't want to leave. Imad, Touria, Fatima the cook, and the nannies if needed. You can arrange for a masseuse or a great sports coach, and Touria takes care of everything, so there are absolutely no worries. It's a dreamlike haven to disconnect, eat like royalty, swim in the beautiful turquoise pool, and visit the souk. It's a great starting point for enjoyable hikes by taxi and donkey, walks to the large market, and bike rides. The rooms are spacious and authentic, with little nooks perfect for finding peace and quiet. In short, a beautiful ochre paradise with views of the famous city walls. My favorite place of the year!
