I ordered the sweet chicken tagine, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back during my stay!

Food and service were beyond expectations. Very clean and filling portions.Definitely worth the wait if you come during peak hours.

This was not a good experience at all. We walked in around 9.30 ish and asked the restaurant manager if they were open and able to serve us, he said no problem. We sat down ordered food they gave us the incorrect order, after that my dish came out chicken tagine with cous cous, lucky I didn’t eat it! My partner immediately saw that my chicken was frozen and still raw. We made the staff aware and there was little to no effort to apologise or make the experience better. It was over priced and would have made me so unwell for the rest of my trip! Many other places to dine at don’t bother with this one!

This is one of the rare gems I came across in essaouira, the place has this cozy family vibe, the women that make the food are very lovely it reminded me of my mom's cooking. I got beef tagine a perfect tenderness 🫠 The prices are reasonable and way more affordable than the neighboring restaurants. I already took my friends form the hostel there as well and definitely coming back to it soon ♥️ Don't forget to tip the ladies, help your local restaurants 😉

One of the best Moroccan on my trip

The best Tajines we had in Morocco! We had the beef meatballs and veal with dried fruits. Can only recommend! Notes: Payment only in cash. We came on a Friday evening and there were plenty of places (but one is obviously on the safe side having a reservation)

my partner and I were recommended this restaurant from our hostel. it did not disappoint! this is without a doubt the tastiest moroccan food we have tried. i had the aubergine vegetable tagine and my partner got the chicken and lemon tagine. we also shared the samosa starter and orange juices. everything was amazing. the tagines were the real highlight and it was great to support a bunch of talented women. lovely dining area and excellent, speedy service
